ABOUT VULCAN VISION:
VULCAM is a multi-angle video platform that is changing the way coaches visually train athletes by harnessing mobile video feed to produce a revolutionary 360 outside-in experience. Vulcam is a software company that uses a variety of angles to provide a complete picture of an athlete’s technical performance.
BUSINESS SITUATION:
Vulcam vision requires many different mounting systems to be able to capture footage for a variety of sports from all possible angles. Their requirements for the casing system are less intensive as other customers. Vulcam vision, however, requires a case that can be mounted to a large variety of mounts securely to be able to capture steady, high-quality footage. They also require a variety of mounts and a fisheye lens to be able to focus on the athlete within the shot automatically. The application is designed to be used with multiple mounting systems.
OUR SOLUTION:
ARMOR-X was able to provide upwards of 50 UAX-FI5 iPhone SE cases with a zoomable fish eye lens. These cases allow adding a considerable element of durability while also increasing their utility to capture high-quality footage. As a member of the X-MOUNT eco-system family, these cases also be attached to a variety of mounting systems. For Vulcam Vision this was the X30K | 2-IN-1 Collapsible mini tripod and grip, with a multi-functional, lightweight tripod that allows video-capture anywhere. These tripods are also height variable allowing Vulcam to tailor the height towards their case by case specifications.
