CASE STUDIES | SAVES LIVES AT SEA | RNLI

ABOUT RNLI :

The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) is a charity that saves lives at sea. It operates a fleet of lifeboats and lifeguards across the UK and Ireland, as well as providing flood rescue, water safety education and international drowning prevention. The RNLI was founded in 1824 and has saved over 143,000 lives since then. It is powered primarily by kind donations from supporters and volunteers who fundraise, crew, launch and maintain the lifeboats and lifeguards. The RNLI also has museums, shops and events that showcase its heritage and raise awareness of its lifesaving work. The RNLI’s vision is to end preventable loss of life at sea.

BUSINESS SITUATION:

The RNLI lifeguards at Perranporth beach are always on duty to keep the public safe from the dangers of the sea. They use their Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablets to monitor the weather conditions, tide times, surf reports and emergency calls. But working on a busy beach can be risky for their devices, exposing them to water, sand, sun and impact.

OUR SOLUTION:

The ARMOR-X case has a rainproof design that prevents water damage to the tablet. Our protective case is rainproof, shockproof and dustproof, ensuring that their tablets are always functional and accessible. It also has a hand strap and a kick-stand that allow them to hold or prop up their tablets with ease. This makes it easier for them to view maps, videos or messages without having to put down their tablets.

Our protective case has made a difference for the Perranporth lifeguards. It has helped them save time, avoid damage and stay connected during their patrols. They are grateful for our support and trust in ARMOR-X product. We have helped them save lives at sea.
